Wadi Sabarah Lodge Abu Dabab offers a private beach area with direct access to a house reef via a jetty. The infinity pool is heated and features a pool bar with sea views. Sun loungers, beach umbrellas, and a water slide are available on the beachfront.

Accommodations and Architecture

Rooms at Wadi Sabarah Lodge provide sea views from private balconies and are constructed with repurposed fossilized coral limestone. Each room includes a mini fridge stocked with water and soft drinks, a safe, and a kettle with tea. No televisions or telephones are present in the rooms, encouraging disconnection.

Dining Experience

The on-site restaurant serves Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and seafood cuisine with a set menu for lunch and dinner. Breakfast offers a small buffet plus freshly prepared eggs, ful, and pancakes. Fresh bread is baked daily in a traditional coal oven, and unlimited fruit is available throughout the day.

Activities and On-Site Diving Center

The lodge hosts Emperor Divers, a professional dive center offering shore and boat dives to the Red Sea coral reefs. Guided desert hikes and astronomy trips are organized through Emperor Adventure. Daily educational presentations on marine life and desert ecology are held in the library before dinner.

Eco-Tourism and Cultural Resources

A botanical garden showcasing desert and medicinal plants surrounds the property, curated by Dr. Irina. The library contains a collection of books on Egyptian history, fauna, and marine life, and a museum displays traditional tribal dresses and jewelry. Wastewater is treated on-site and used for garden irrigation.
